What is Rascal Rugby?

​Rascal Rugby is a fun, non-contact rugby program for boys and girls aged 2 to 5 years. Our sessions focus on developing key motor skills, teamwork, confidence, and social growth—all while having a blast!

What Makes Us Different?

Rascal Rugby combines Jarrod’s experience as a player and coach with Lauren’s expertise as an Osteopath. Our sessions are designed to build rugby skills, motor development, and social confidence, all while keeping the atmosphere playful and fun for both kids and parents!

Does My Child Need Rugby Experience?

Not at all! Our sessions are tailored for beginners and focus on learning through play. Every child is welcome!

Session Times & Locations

To begin, our sessions will be held on Saturday mornings, with four sessions running between 8:30 and 11:30 am at Caloundra Rugby Union Club (81 Arthur St, Caloundra). We are looking to expand in the future, so please let us know your preferences for midweek sessions by completing this survey.

Costs & Registration

  • Wombats (2 – 3.5 years): $180 for a 10-week term

  •  Dingos (3.5 – 5 years): $200 for a 10-week term

  •  One-off Registration Fee: $45

The registration pack includes a Rascal Rugby tee shirt and bucket hat for your child. You can also opt to add a Rascal Rugby ball for an extra $15.

What Should My Child Bring?

Just wear your Rascal Rugby tee shirt and bucket hat, shorts they can move in, and sneakers or sports shoes. No rugby boots needed! We will have rugby balls ready to go for the little rascals, just make sure you bring a water bottle!

How Long Are the Sessions?

  • Dingos Sessions: 40 minutes

  • Wombats Sessions: 30 minutes
